Hilltop & Lowry
Established lots on the hill, and a former air base reborn as a neighborhood.

Hilltop and Lowry sit side by side in east Denver, divided by Quebec Street. Hilltop is one of the city’s established residential areas, with wider lots, mature trees and a mix of mid-century and traditional homes, many replaced or expanded over the years. Lowry occupies the former Lowry Air Force Base, which closed in 1994; its redevelopment combined new homes with historic base buildings converted to lofts, offices and schools.

Housing
What you’ll find
In Hilltop, value often follows the lot: a modest 1950s ranch on a generous parcel can command more than its square footage suggests. Lowry offers newer single-family homes, rowhomes and condominiums, with parks woven through the plan. Just north and west, brick ranches from the post-war years offer a more accessible entry point to the area.
